I decided to share some of the Action Steps I’m working with on my students in the Online Coaching class. I hope you find them helpful. If you have questions sent the to me here. If you would like to join us there is still room for 2 more students. You also be getting the added a bonus session with an associate of mine who is a impressive energy healer, she be showing you how to use your own energy to create healing.
Here a part of the Action Plan, I’ve sent to my coaching students.
A In order to get the most from this workshop we want to set up the baseline for the challenges and issues you face.
B Step One: List all the challenges or emotions that are getting in your way:
1. Use specific situations:
2. Examples of challenges: fear, sadness, anger, panic attacks, low self esteem, social phobia, fear of speaking in public, fear of needles, test anxiety, flying, etc
3. Make sure you state the details of the situation, not just the emotion.
a. Where does this problem occur?
b. Who is there in the situation.
c . What specifically is happening in the situation.
d. What are you saying to yourself, see if you can “catch” the thoughts moving through your mind when you think of the situation?
This is an important exercise. You can do it quickly or take your time. The important thing is to have something written down. In this class we will be working on one of the top 3 issues you choose to work on.
In our next class on June 23rd I’ll give you the questions to help you focus inward. We’ll use these questions to get to the real desires, and to unearth things that is getting in the way of you achieving your goals.
For now just write down you list and pick 3 that you want to work on. I’ll show you how to use the information in the next workshop. This is an important piece of the blueprint for change from the Transformation System used at the Anxiety Control Center.
Benefits of setting a baseline:
C When you set up a base line of challenges and issues you get 3 benefits
1. Choices will become clearer.
2. You will feel more in control, by having a place to start.
3. You will be able to measure the changes that happen.

Q: Is it hard to learn self-hypnosis? Can it help me to get motivated to achieve goals I want?
I believe than any goal can be achieved when you break it down into small enough pieces.
Most of us get stuck because of the overwhelming feeling that overtakes us when our goals are so big we don’t know where to start.
One of the reasons I teach my students to do a number of self-hypnosis techniques is that they can then get underneath the goal to the hoped for benefits of achieving the goal. By going into a trance state you can get to unconscious information that will help you to move easily towards goals. Once you are in touch with the unconscious part of the mind it becomes much easier to break the goals down into doable pieces.
By having a “tool box” of simple steps and mental tools you can build up confidence. Then when you are ready to tackle the next set of tasks they seem easy to do as well. Learning to do anything is easier when you know how to break it down. We all already have the building blocks within us, trance allows us to access them.
Case study. We have the solutions within us . . . to be continued in the next post

Our online coaching class is starting again May 26th. Each week the students get to ask questions and have them answered in a live call. They get immediate help with real life situation. I’ll be posting some of the questions and a summary of the answers that I gave during the coaching sessions. For the full answer in mp3 format, please join with us in May. Go here to sign up.
This following is one question that one of my students sent after having great success in relieving panic.
Question: Hi Audrey, I had three amazing weeks free of panic. But yesterday I felt anxiety while I was driving. I feel like I’ve fallen back into the old panic again. Does that mean the hypnosis isn’t working? I’m really afraid nothing will help me.
First of all, just think how amazing it is that you had 3 panic free weeks. After suffering for 20 years, I’d say that was an indication of how well the techniques are working. Perhaps we can look at the panic symptoms in a different “light.”
When panic surfaces again I feel it is an indication that something needs to be looked at and attended to. It is natural to worry that you’ve slipped back into old behavior. But, there is another explanation. you might consider. Your unconscious mind is giving you a signal that there is something deeper that needs to be worked on. I look it as a positive, your unconscious giving you a clue that you are now healthy enough to look at the next piece of the “puzzle.”
As we clear out emotions, it gives deeper repressed emotions “space” to surface. Once you recognize that the anxiety is just a signal to do the next piece of “work” you can interpret the anxiety in a different way.
Remember without any stress you typically won’t feel the need to change. Stress that surfaces just signals that its time to look deeper.
To start to look at the deeper issues
it is helpful to go into hypnotic trance state.
The unconscious mind holds the answers.
Learning to alter you state can be as easy as
changing your breathing pattern.

The following was an email I received from one of my coaching students.
When we started in the online coaching course 4 sessions ago, this client hadn’t been out of the house because anxiety was so great. She found her life limited in so many ways and her self concept was at a low. Although some of the techniques she talks about may not be familiar, her new feeling about herself are obvious. She has taken all that I teach and made it her own. The following is her email.
Hi Audrey,
As I was listening to your questions on what did the feeling feel like and where did I feel it, I began to get an insight.
Getting in touch with my feelings and my body helps me to be in touch with myself to understand me. It helps me to identify a feeling(s) so I’m put in a position to use it in the way that helps me.
Getting in touch with my feelings also helps me to identify where I feel any kind of negative feelings in my body and replace it even change it with the “anchor” you help me set up.
This particular session has helped me realize even more, that my feelings do matter and I am important. I do matter, and my life is important. When I consider my feelings to take good care of me, it makes me want to consider other people’s feelings and be more kind to them. I’m beginning to understand the concept of “you only can love others when you love yourself”.
Thank you Audrey for all the work you have put in and you’re putting in to help so many, you are making a difference. Carolyn

Continued from 4/30 post
When you say “don’t do something” your unconscious mind forms a picture of exactly what you are saying not to do. The more Russell thought about not swearing, the more his mind pictured him swearing. This is what led to his feeling as if his mind was compelled to do exactly what he was told not to do.
There are was of speaking that you can use so your unconscious mind will lead you to what gain what you want. There are ways of sending messages to the unconscious that will program what you want instead of what you don’t want.
Imagine using the mind to program in compelling thoughts that would motivate you to do something you would like to do. Like exercising, moving ahead on a business plan, or any other goal that is important to you.
The first step is to put your thoughts in the positive. Say what you want instead of what you don’t want. So in the golf example, instead of staying “don’t hit into the sand trap”, the golfer would say “I’m going to hit the ball onto the green.” Although the ball might not actually get on the green, it has a much better change of going in the direction of the green.
When you say what you want your mind creates a picture of what you want to happen. This picture is very powerful. Some people use positive statements to re-program old thoughts. If you add a picture of yourself doing the activity just how you “wish” it would be, you are adding to the power of the message to the unconscious mind.
By learning how to create messages in the way that your unconscious can follow you are beginning to gain control of getting more of what you want in life. For more information on learning how to using your mind to work for you instead of against you sign in at the top right side of this page.
You’ll receive 2 exercises.

I was reading an article on how Olympic athletes learn to achieve success in moving towards their goals. I was delighted to read that they do just what I was asking you to do in our online coaching workshop. Successful people approach their goals in a very specific manner.
Olympic athletes set small daily goals, achievable steps they take, no matter what towards the bigger goal of being a top athlete. In our coaching I asked all of you to “lower the bar” making the steps so small, that you can only find success. By making the steps so small you almost effortlessly glide towards the bigger goals you set. First you set the goal, then you break it down into the smallest possible pieces, that will take you towards your goals.
Remember making the goal so small that you can’t help but succeed, will end up motivating you to setting and keeping the next small step. When you learn to keep your commitments to yourself, by achieving these small steps you will find your motivation to take the next step grows.
To recap: When fear, or procrastination seems to stop you. Take another look at you goals. And ask yourself these questions:
1. Are the steps small enough so that you will take the step, even when you are tired, or not in the mood?
2. Is the larger goal you’ve set really important to you ? What will you feel like after achieving the goal?
3. What else is important about achieving the goal, what is underneath the desire?
Typically the reason we get stuck with goals is that they take us out of our comfort zone. But, if you sit down and create tiny, baby steps towards the goal, and make a decision to take the steps, before you know it you are tapping into your full potential, moving in the direction with comfort, energy, joy and creativity.
Making it a habit to do something towards your goals every day, keeps you on course. It becomes a habit. I gave one example in yesterdays post. Here is another example of setting the bar so low you can only succeed. I’ve asked many of you to read the book I recommended on how to get others to listen when you speak. If you set a goal of just 2 pages a day, by the end of the week you will have 14 pages read. By the end of the month 60 pages will be read. And in two months you will be more than half way through the book. All because you kept to you commitment to yourself to read 2 pages a day. And in addition you’ve established the habit, finding the power of moving towards you goals, one tiny step at a time.

Hope to have you join us in this journey of self discovery.
